You are the last person that should be apologizing for anything.

In 2000, wiht a broken hip and in a wheelchair, Judith joined the rest of the group and performed this song and the closing of the Parolimpicks in Sydney, Austrailia. I would have loved to hear them live

I almost hesitate to admit this, but I've been sitting for the past seven and a half hours, mesmorized, listening to the Seekers over and over again. They brought so much beauty into the world and those of us fortunate enough to be aware of it are in a way, blessed. You are way ahead of most of the rest of us who can only look and listen in wonder. Thank you for sharing what you have of the Seekers and thank you for your reply.

And could you believe she has had trouble with her lungs all her life and at times it leaves her breathless? Her voice releases so much emotion that it's said that men that have not cried for 50-60 years cry like little boys at her concerts.

It is a privilege to experience the glory of Judith Durham's voice, which has been described as angelic, clear, beautiful, fantastic, etc. It is certainly all those things; but to literally draw out emotion as evidenced here and especially with Waltzing Matilda, a voice has to be something more. It has to soar. It has to rise to epic proportions. And don't overlook her technique. You'll never hear her gasp for air as so many singers do today, thereby ruining the mood. It's about professionalism.

one of the 'great' hits from the seekers if not their best one, yep i'll even say one of best music groups to come from there out of australia in all forms of music.thanks for posting this on :)

Same as what robin101962 said.I'm a 16 stone bloke sitting here reduced to a sobbing fool by this and Morningtown Ride. How does Judith and the Seekers do this to me?
