This is how the lucky feel. How the blessed think.Like daybreak in spring. The sun on a spring morning. But how do i feelin my gloomy depths?Like the flat brink of a cloud.Like a dark night in autumn.

A black winter day no darker than that.Gloomier than an authumn night.

well they also did this revolution so big that (as we all know thay started sucking after this album)a generation of death metal that was about everything else but DM emerged and then we loads of bands jumping in the wagon of mellow romantic death metal(wtf)and hence a lot of subgenres that utterly suck.I mean, it's ok music-wise, culturally speaking, the metal variety grew bigger, but I dunno,I consider death metal to be a violent display of some harsh feelings, but as I said I might be wrong.

I might be wrong but anyway. believe this album to be one of the revolutionary death metal albums of the 90´s. I bought it on tape after a few months of its release, and I was like.."where's the blast grrooarghh buoom crash death satan whatever?" I did not really like it at first. It was a little too melodic for my 15-year-old tastes. Funny it is now one of my top albums of all time.
