It must be Navy the AirForce doesn't launch off of a carrier or land on one. I only flew the prop jobs never even ridden in a jet. I'LL take a Radial driven fan any day more fun.

500 mph? They go around the 170 mph mark. I'm pretty sure thats a F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and being one of the heavier fight jets it wouldn't even be near possible to land that at 500 mph.
