Thanks for the info. For now I'll subscribe to your videos, and I'll buy the DVD whenever it becomes available. I really wish you success. Maybe it's just the first project of several?

The film is being released in foreign markets as we speak. Some will go DVD, some bought TV rights. (It's showing on Israeli TV Dec. 2nd.)The U.S. Distributor will release it on DVD after Christmas; they didn't want to get squeezed off the shelves by the big studio movies. When I have an exact date, I'll make an announcement on the site and on YouTube.

sweet, look I'm chubby I know why, I like to sit around in between doing things and I dig food I have to i do to live, when I'm bored, socially, when i have nothing in common with some one lets all be fat and happy as a nation why not replace all those toothpick body images to hephers maybe then people would realise they are fine on the inside be happy with your own damn self don't let a movie dictate what you feed your face hope you get rich bye

I can't wait for this to be released.

We're in post-production now, so let's hope you don't have to wait long.Fast food isn't health food, and I don't try to pass it off as health food in the film. My point is that we're if we're talking about obesity and diabetes, Spurlock blamed the wrong culprit. A box of Cocoa Puffs actually has the American Heart Association seal of approval on it, which is ludicrous. It's a box of sugar. You'd be way better off eating an Egg McMuffin.

Okay, I love that you're getting the message out there, but there are other reasons not to eat fast food beyond its health detriments. Where the meat comes from (I.e. factory farms that abuse their animals and pump them with hormones and antibiotics) is just as important as how many grams of sugar are in the food. I'm not a member of PETA or anything, but the food being high in refined carbs isn't the only reason I stay away (though it's still a big one). Otherwise, I can't wait to see the film!

I've watched Super Size Me all the way through several times. Documentaries ARE a form of journalism, Pal. That's where the name comes from ... they "document" something. But if you want to re-define the term in your own mind so you can excuse Spurlock for being dishonest about what he ate, hey, go ahead and make yourself happy!
freundtraub (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
um, ssm was a movie, not journalism. sure, Spurlock set up rules, but that doesnt make it journalism, nor does he ever approach the MOVIE as journalism. its a documentary film that the more i read about your film, the less i think you have watched the whole thing.
FatHeadMovie (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
At the moment, no. The film has to go through post production, then the distributor will set the release date. |
