I used 4-ply worsted weight yarn since it shows up on camera better than the tiny thread. You can make it with thread. It is approximately 4-5 inches across with yarn.

How amazing -- I type in crochet lotus and I got one! I have to make this! What is the finished size? Exactly what size is the yarn and the hook? Is it crochet yarn (size 10,3 etc) or something else?
