SheJustSoFly, only someone full of misandry would see only sexism against women. men are routinely portrayed as disposable while women are portrayed as something to be cherished and protected. women are far less likely to be hurt, mutilated, sexually assaulted (ie: crotch kicked), and so on. and when women are, it is always by the evil person. In this case, it is the heroine that castrates the guy. when have you ever seen a hero assault/rape a woman? Movies are far more sexist against men.

hahaha. i saw the first one, but i remember it being a gorefest and so, i never saw this one. i love how you say the extreme gore got hilarious at some points. true. it's a fine line between 'holy crap!' and 'c'mon now, that's just ridiculous!' i can imagine an after-date conversation being like: "...So...uh...do you like...uh...torture? I mean, 'cause I don't. I really like Babybel cheese, though."

as much as movies have been sexist against women, the one time something happens to a man of course someone has to mention it.
itschinyo (December 31, 1969 at 3:59 pm)
hahaha i agree. but in some of the scenes, the gore was so ridiculous to a point where it was just funny.
