I like this video alot. I have some really great collection of dvds, toys etc. Im kinda the same way when it comes to collecting. Id say i have about 300 dvds or so. Nothing compared to what you have. But i have pretty much all my favorite dvds. Mainly horror, comedy's and tv shows.

Awesome stuff you got!! I pretty much have all my collection in my living room under alpha. I separated my italian movies and my japanese movies though in their own space. My fiance has all his cds in our second bedroom our music room. I probably only have half of what you have but i luck out by working at a video store because i get all my new movies at 5 bucks a pop!!! =) Anyways ur place reminds me alot of my old bedroom at my folks place before i got my house.later!

You do realize that when they say "it's not good to play old school games on a big TV" that they are referring to projection TVs. Those are like you said, old TVs. Honestly though, you could play old school video games on a widescreen HDTV, but they look like shit (anything from N64 and earlier). Apparently with projection TVs is that it cant handle the picture for some odd reason. Ill make bet your old school games look like crap on that huge widescreen TV.

Its no big deal in my country, a movie costs 1 euro, go out, beg for about 2 hours and go get you're daily amount of movies :P

Holy shit. Iv'e just started collection dvd's. I have a 42 inch samsung plasma with surround sound in my room lol so might as well invest a bit in dvds. I also have a blu-ray player (ps3) but there too much damn money for a blu-ray movie! And i cant figure out how to set up surround sound while watching blu-ray at the same time.
