OPERA NIGHT APRIL 4, 2008
A wonderful evening jam-packed with terrific singers and musicians. The trio with Gene Keyes, clarinet, Hiroko Nakamara, violin, and Isabella Eredita Johnson, piano swelled the gigantic space with sonorous sounds of dedicated musicians. Many different voices from coloratura to baritone filled the program with an variety of arias and character roles. To master the art of operatic singing and using the human body as a musical instrument takes great care, exercise, and restraint over many years! It's always amazing to hear the product of good lungs, special voice box, and the commitment to realize personal goals!"Butterfly" composed by Matthew Pierce, a professional musician, is performed with Isabella Eredita Johnson, pianist.
