I remember reading somewhere that this was probably Al Stewart's least favorite song to play, wow- it's a classic now. Everyone can probably recall a certain place in time that this song carries them back to!

Remember when rock stars could play the piano? Everyone in this is wonderful, however. Great song, brings back memories, makes me sad.

Thank you, ElaineMarley, for posting. What gem. Made my day. To Pupuliini86, have a listen to Lyle Mayes (Pat Metheny Group), now THERE'S a piano player!

i can play that piano part like a copy. i´ve played piano 17 yrs now and when i heard this song i just had to practice that, and it took only 15minutes to learn it, it´s simple when you really know how to play piano. The piano part is just amazing. Still lynyrd skynyrd pianist is the best of them all =)-22yrs old woman from finland =)
