Ok, I am a Christian for starters. I don't understand why it is necessary to condemn people for their religion. I believe that we could argue this until the day we die, and then we will know surely who was right. I think it can be a good discussion but I would just like people to stop condemning others basesd on their religious beliefs.

What staggering arrogance you display in your bold assertion that religion is true! My children are being brought up to discover the world for themselves. They are given unbiased information, and are free to believe in what they want to. If they choose to believe in a god, which I personally think is tantamount to mental illness, so be it.

I mean that governments force schools to teach kids a secular morality here, as opposed to the US where if you go to catholic school for example you will learn christan morals and maybe even creationism. I went to catholic school and in our 'religious' class we learned about sex, accepting homosexuals, and more... in fact Im attending a secular university now and more religious morality is taught here than in my catholic school...

@ manhattanwombat:You are just not understanding it. Schools don't teach atheism, they teach SCIENCE and therefore REALITY. What did he say? Atheism = reality! You have to learn that NOT mentioning religion is NOT EQUAL to teaching atheism. It's rather teaching reality (the GIVEN/EXISTING THINGS) without the additional fictional creation/bible stuff.
