re3 and re2 take place around the same time. if you played through the game more then once and played re3 you should know that. in re3 in the begining brad gets killed by nemisis. later into re2 on your second play through you may find a zombie of brad which you can kill for the key to bonus costumes. they take place roughly at the same time, its not sure which took place first.

well, not exactly, RE2 STARTS when Jill is knocked out in the clock tower and when Carlos is trying to protect her, thats when RE2 starts, but nice find though!

In the underground facility in Resident Evil 2 there's a locked room containing a dead Nemesis. Resident Evil 2 takes place after 3, which suggests Umbrella released more than one into Raccoon City.

completely agree with the claustrophobic idea! even though I played this a lot of times, I still feel the suspense.

yeah, the pre-rendered background usually give the game a cinematic (and, in this case, claustrophobic) effect |
