To Nicole, if you ever read these comments:it's sad that you had to deal with the fear your classmates and teachers have for the unknown. it may be comforting to think that although they believe differently than you, you never had a problem with them, because you have an open mind. to them, they have been told so many times by people they trust that they have to "fear the devil" that they are now sadly incapable of accepting unusual or different things as easily as you.

That makes me angry how they had said all that stuff about her threatening to kill a team member..and all of this stuff just because she has no belief in a deity.That's just silly. And also, where the other students called her a "devil worshipper"..and stuff like that, just shows their ignorance.

I really hope this isn't your impression of All of America, just go to places that are more progressive, not in the 'bible belt' I'm not surprised this happened in Oklahoma. Just stay away from anywhere that Sarah Palin calls 'real America'
